We take all whistleblowing reports and suspicions of misconduct seriously.
We consider it essential that our operations are accountable and transparent, and based on legislation as well as the association's own guidelines and principles. We want to be informed of any suspicion of misconduct or unethical behavior so that we can address such situations and prevent similar cases in the future. We encourage our stakeholders to raise such concerns openly, and reports made in good faith will not result in any negative consequences for the reporting person.
Reportable misconduct includes, for example, violations of laws, regulations, Swallows' guidelines or policies, sexual or other harassment, improper conduct, or matters related to bribery and corruption.
You can submit a report using the form under your own name, in Finnish or English. The information in the form is read by the chairperson of the association. If necessary, you may submit the report anonymously, but in that case proper handling of the matter may be difficult or even impossible for us. Anyone can submit a report. All reports are treated confidentially.
When submitting a report, please describe the case in as much detail as possible: what exactly happened, and what you saw, heard, or witnessed. Please explain what gives you cause for concern.
If your concern relates to the chairperson of the association, you can instead report by email to the association's executive director at paaskyt at paaskyt.fi or by phone at +358 45 138 9062. You can also send your report by post to Mäkelänkatu 54 A, 00510 Helsinki, Finland.
Concerns relating to Finland's development cooperation can also be reported through the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' online service.
If you need emergency assistance or suspect a crime, please contact the authorities.
Please provide your name and contact information so that we can, if necessary, contact you to clarify the matter and ensure sufficient evidence.
